Background

A drug is no better than its delivery system!

TETRAPHARM has developed a portfolio of formulation technologies designed to enhance the solubility and bioavailability of BCS Class II compounds. These platform technologies are initially developed using surrogate active ingredients that reflect the physicochemical characteristics expected in future chemical entities of TETRAPHARM’s pipeline.

One of TETRAPHARM’s powder-based formulations has recently completed the proof-of-concept stage and is now ready for optimization. The next step involves refining the excipient composition to improve in vitro dissolution performance.

Through this project, you will gain insight into the role of advanced excipients beyond conventional immediate-release formulations. You will also acquire practical experience in applying Design of Experiments (DoE) methodologies for structured experimental planning, response-surface modeling and visualization. Since the formulation remains at the “platform” stage, your ideas and suggestions for formulation improvements and optimization strategies will be highly valued.

Perspective

This is a thesis project that is truly connected to real-life pharmaceutical development work. You will work closely with experienced formulation scientists in a dynamic environment that still retains the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup. Here, the journey from concept to implementation is remarkably short, allowing you to see the direct impact of your work.

Bring your pharmaceutical expertise and passion for formulation science, and let’s tackle this challenge together.
